About Beverly Fridley

I am Professor Emeritus, Psychology, Los Angeles Harbor College. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from USC and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.

Music has always been a big influence in my life.

I began with formal piano and violin lessons, starting at age five, then performing, teaching and singing.

My Mission for Musical Thinking

To help you become the director of your own life through this Musical way of Thinking.
With the scientific data behind the powerful yet simple effect of combining music with psychology and thinking, I have been captivated by this management technique and feel passionate in sharing it with others.

Just  think, we can purposefully take charge of our brain by selecting words, notes and rhythm, then focus on them in a particular thoughtful way.

This puts the brain on a different activation mode than just listening to and enjoying music.  You link the thinking parts of your brain with the music parts of your brain.

This gives you an advantage in leading the life you choose with the goals you want for yourself.
